DAY 1
Transportation from San Jose to Tortuguero
Early morning departure from San Jose luxury air-conditioned bus, traveling through the Brauilo Carrillo National Park, after a two hour drive we will make a brief stop for breakfast. Then continue to meet with our boat transfer. An amazing feature of Tortuguero is that there are no roads; this wonderful world of water can only be explored by boat.
Upon arrival we are invited to a welcome cocktail before checking into your room. Your guide will inform you where you will be having lunch.
Afternoon we will visit the colorful town of Tortuguero it is possible to appreciate the lifestyle of its people and learn a little of their customs and daily life. It was an ancient place of hunting, fishing, and agriculture of different ethnic groups such as the Miskito, the Miskito-Zambo and Afro-Caribbean population.
DAY 2
Tortuguero
You will need to purchase the park entrance the day prior before entering the park. Your tour guide will assist you.
The awakening tour is the perfect time to enjoy a wildlife that wakes up with the first rays of sun. The singing of animals to start the day, the wind sound and the absolute magic that brings the awakening in the middle of the jungle.
The tour is a 2-hour boat ride in the National Park departing between 5:30 and 6:00am, lasts two hours.
Return for Breakfast morning free to enjoy lodge and its natural surroundings. Lunch at 1:00 pm afterwards at 2:30pm we will visit the canals of Tortuguero return 4:30 and dinner in the evening.
Day 3
Tortuguero National Park Return to San Jose
You will need to purchase the park entrance the day prior before entering the park. Your tour guide will assist you.
Full America Breakfast
Departure at 10:00 am
Lunch Stop arrive San Jose or other destinations to Caribbean or Arenal Volcano.
