DAY 1

Natural History Tour

Monday 8:30 AM Welcome Breakfast Villas Palmas Guests

11:30 am – 4:00 pm / City Tour: Visiting the capital of Costa Rica with our licensed tour guide while learning about the history,  the culture, Social security system , education system, the geography, the weather, housing, taxes and much more while driving around the most important areas and facilities of San Jose such as National Stadium, Sabana Metropolitan Ppark, Central Avenue, San Jose Cathedral, Central Park, National Monument, Supreme Court, train station, and our oldest neighborhoods in the country. (Dress casual, bring camera bottled water)

DAY 2

Baldi Hot Springs

Tuesday 7:30 am – 9:45 pm / Arenal Volcano & Famous Baldi Hot Springs: Visit Sarchi Handcraft center of Costa Rica and best souvenir shopping option! Then let our team take you to one of the Costa Rica’s most active volca-noes (since the volcano is active and no safe, no walks to the crater are allowed since 2000) and spend a relaxing afternoon at baldi best hotsprings in the whole country! More than 20 different hotsprings with the best views of the volcano while relaxing in the hot water surrounded by exhuberant tropical gardens and jungle. Includes: lunch, dinner, lockers, towels, confortable transportation, tour guide and entrance fees. SEE OP-TIONAL TOURS FOR THE AFTERNOON (not included)

Day 3

Rain Forest and Chocolate Tour

Wednesday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm / Rain Forest Chocolate Tour at Tirimbina Reserve, and Safari Boat Tour: Visit the rain forest with us and discover one of the most traditional chocolate tours ever seen, right in the heart of the jungle where the coco trees grow wild, learn about its history and make your own chocolate like our anscestors used to prepare it. A beautiful walk through the forest and the longest hanging bridge in Costa Rica awaits for you ! and then enjoy the beauty of the amazing sarapiqui river and all its biodiversity! (lunch and entrance fees included). 

DAY 4

Manuel Antonio National Park and Wildlife

Thursday 6:15 am – 6:30 pm  / Manuel Antonio National Park: Manuel Antonio National Park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Costa Rica. On this tour, you will visit pristine beaches, with coral reefs, bordered by exuberant vegetation and the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest. The beaches in Manuel Antonio are highly coveted as some of the best that Costa Rica has to offer. On the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, you will travel along the coastline enjoying scenic views, including African palm planta-tions. You will also travel past small villages along the Pacific Coast, until you reach the port of Quepos and the ultima-tely the National Park. Since access to the park itself is closed to vehicles, you will hike to the preserve, treking 1 km. Once in the park, you can simply relax and enjoy the beach, sunbathe, or hike through the park’s trails, which will allow you to observe Manuel Antonio’s abundant flora and fauna. Several species of monkeys, iguanas, birds and possibly even the three-toed sloth can be seen.k. you chose to hike the trail to Cathedral Point, do not forget your ca-mera; the views of the park and the sea are simply spectacular!

DAY 5

Poás National Park and Waterfall Garden

Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Poás volcano & Peace Waterfall Gardens: An excellent day departing early in the morning enjoying a wide variety of scenery moving towards the Poas Volcano where you will be able to see the largest active volcano in C.R and Afterwards we will travel to Water-fall Garden, three waterfalls, (not swimming) cloud forest, safe hiking, aviary with more than 40 species of birds, monkeys, insect exhibit, butterfly observatory, hummingbird gardens, snake exhibit, see the different species of Costa Rican felines, frog exhibit) & orchid exhibit. 

Bring walking shoes, wind breaker, camera dress casual. This tour has to be reserved since Monday otherwise we can’t guarantee entrance to the volcano, since the tickets have to be purchased online in advance.
