Early morning departure from San Jose luxury air-conditioned bus, traveling through the Brauilo Carrillo National Park, after a two hour drive we will make a brief stop for breakfast. Then continue to meet with our boat transfer. An amazing feature of Tortuguero is that there are no roads; this wonderful world of water can only be explored by boat.

Upon arrival we are invited to a welcome cocktail before checking into your room. Your guide will inform you where you will be having lunch.

Afternoon we will visit the colorful town of Tortuguero it is possible to appreciate the lifestyle of its people and learn a little of their customs and daily life.  It was an ancient place of hunting, fishing, and agriculture of different ethnic groups such as the Miskito, the Miskito-Zambo and Afro-Caribbean population.

You will need to purchase the park entrance the day prior before entering the park. Your tour guide will assist you.
