Monday 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm • City Tour

Introductory Tour, getting to know our Capitol, “San Jose”. General introduction, history, culture, restaurants and areas of interest. Visit our famous National Theater and the University of Costa Rica, see residential areas, and go shopping for Handcrafted Souvenirs (famous woods of Costa Rica). Return early afternoon. Includes: Entrance fees, Transportation and Guide (Bring your camera, dress casual).

Tuesday 8:30 am to 9:00 pm • Arenal Hot Lava Volcano & Famous Baldi Hot Springs

Visit one of Costa Rica’s most active volcanoes! Arenal Volcano dominates the surrounding country side with spectacular displays of pyrotechnics. Enjoy great views of the ash clouds, and at night experience glowing lava flows from the Baldi Hot Springs Resort, one of our greatest tropical attractions, where you can also take a walk in the botanical gardens. We’ll make a stop in Sarchí, home to the famous Costa Rican oxcarts, for some more souvenirs. Changing rooms towels and lockers are provided. (Bring bathing suit, camera, and a light sweater.)

Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm • 5 in 1 = Poas Volcano, Waterfall, Humming Bird Garden, Selva Verde Rain Forest Hike, Sarapiquí River Float Adventure

An excellent day departing early in the morning. Enjoy a wide variety of scenery moving towards the Poas Volcano 8 thousand 400 ft. above sea level, the third largest crater in the world. Visit the provinces of Alajuela and Heredia viewing coffee fields, export ornamental fern farms, strawberry fields. We will travel to San Fernando Waterfall, the Humming Bird Gallery will fascinate you while the Humming Birds feed out of the feeders, then we will continue on to the Selva Verde Rain Forest Lodge where we will have the opportunity to have a one hour nature hike in a primary Rain Forest, buffet lunch and a fifteen minute ride to the Sarapiqui River loacated on the Northern Caribbean side of C.R where we will have time for winding down. Our 32 passenger boat will give us the opportunity to enjoy all the animals that live along the riverside. Returning back to San Jose we will travel through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks & All Park entrances (Bring rain gear, rubber soled walking shoes, binoculars, insect repellent and camera with extra film!!!)

Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm • Pacific Beaches and Crocodile Bay

Departing from your hotel early in the morning, it’s an hour and a half drive to the Pacific Coast where we will arrive to Rio Tarcoles and join up with our boat trip down the Tarcoles River. We will be able to view a wide variety of birds, observing more than 50 species of native, migratory and costal birds. Our tour travels through mangroves, the refuge of the Scarlet Macaw, where its presence is frequent. From here we will travel Jaco Beach Hotel Canciones Del Mar where we will be able to enjoy a full day on the beach. The Hotel Canciones Del Mar is located directly in front of the beach and our trip includes lunch, returning late afternoon. (Bring a towel, bathing suit, sun screen, sun glasses ball cap, change of clothes.)

Wednesday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm • Canopy Tour

Something that you have never done before! A unique tour that lets you roam around the tree tops. It’s a 45 minute ride for a thrill that you will never forget, observing nature like you've never seen it before, giving you a birds eye view of the tropical rain forest, leaping from platform to platform on a special system of steel cables with use of professional climbing gear. Includes Transportation, Safety Gear, Guide, and a Snack. (Bring rain gear, hiking shoes and camera).

The Doka Coffee Plantation is a private owned coffee plantation and mill. Visitors are taught about the ancient techniques of coffee farming, harvesting, milling and roasting. We will travel to the town of Alajuela where we will enjoy a typical lunch. Afterwards we will visit local Wood Factory where you can purchase local souvenirs at wholesale prices. Includes Lunch and entrances fees. (Bring walking shoes and camera.)

Wed 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. • Pueblo Antiguo Dinner Show

A great way to find out about Costa Rican heritage and culture. You’ll come in contact with our nineteenth century’s traditions. Enjoy a humorous show where you will come to know our beliefs, traditional garments, architecture, music, food and dance. You will be transported deep within Costa Rican roots at the Pueblo Antiguo Dinner Show.
